six-week course

Our six-week course is perfect for beginner and intermediate students who want to gain an extended understanding of working with clay. Learn the foundations of wheel throwing and hand-building, and how to trim, fire and glaze.

Throughout the course, you will have the space and support to complete a body of ceramic work, from creation to glazing. It is helpful to come up with ideas and inspiration for the work you would like to make. No ideas yet? Don’t worry - I’ll introduce you to coil and slab projects to help get you started.

The course fee includes 12 hours of making time and all clay, glazes and tools are provided. A generous 3kg of firing is included - over 3kg will cost $12/kg.
